Ghana's new fifa ranking after thee 2006 world cup is: 25th and that is 23 steps up from their previous ranking before the world cup. They currently have 839 points having gained 239 points because of
their relative good performance in the 2006 world cup, where they beat both the US and the Czech republic after having been defeated 2-0 by the Italians. In the round of 16 they were unlucky for being drawn to play against Brazil and although a heroic performance they eventually lost to Brasil.

they are 25 but they would be higher if they werent playing brazil in the round of 16 and they should be higher than the Us which is 16th.
