Years ago I put a $100K stake down on an ant farm, but that was the year of the big aardvark infestation, so we had to eat our investment. Lost everything and had to live in a pup tent in Wyoming. Oh, wait - you're talking about food. Sorry. Got lost in the painful memory... Sure do miss that farm.

I was driving from Florida to visit my family in canada B.C.part of
this journey took me accross Nebraska,as I crossed the state
line there was a tiny little board on the verge telling me I was only
200 miles from the best steak in the U.S.A. This little board
became progessively bigger until it was enormous,& suddenly
you come upon this huge site with huge model steers dotted
about the place
The offer was a 72 oz. steak free if you can eat it I asked the
proprietor how on earth he can make any money, & he said that at weekends loads of drunks decend on the place, all ordering
this huge steak,& of course they could,nt,but it cost plenty of
cash to find out.
He went on to say he had been pulling this stunt for 2 or 3 years
& had only given away 4 steaks.

About 60 ounces of a 72 ounce steak. If I ate all 72 then it was free. It was however in Canada while on my honeymoon, many moons ago. I can only handle about 8 oz now without feeling lousy.

I'm English but I had a 20 oz steak once, didn't have any room for chips or peas though. Wouldn't do it again, I don't see the point in being that greedy, bet some people have it all the time.
