Your bf is being selfish and insecure. I'm married 25 years and my husband would NEVER try to forbid me from anything. It is a control issue honey. One of the 1st signs of abuse. He doesn't own you. Next it will be all of your friends and then your family. You should find a new boyfriend. One that is secure enough to let you be yourself. Get out of it before it gets any worse. I've been there and believe me I'm telling you the truth. Good Luck

Hello there,
I used to have a bf like that. At the beginning, I was so happy with the thought that my bf was so in love with me, that was why he acted selfishly. But I found out it wasnt love unless you make the person you love happy. If you dont feel happy when he did that, talk to him. Maybe he just loves you so much and doesnt realise what he is doing doesnt make you happier. If he doesnt change after that, that is absolutely selfishness!!!

He's pretending it's for your own safety, but pure and simply he's just jealous and can't stand the thought of you with another guy.
You need to change this dynamic in your relationship, and you guys have to work it out so that he accepts and trusts you with your guy friends. Without trust you have nothing. If he refuses to compromise on this issue and let you have your freedom, you will never be happy in the long-run. So get out while you can. TRUST ME.

It isnt quiet selfishness, its more possesiveness. He doesnt like the fact that you talk with other guys because it makes him feel insecure. By having control over you makes him feel bigger and better. Dont let him do that to you. If it gets any worse (he forbids you to go out with you friends, or hits you when you dont do as he says) i suggest you break it off immedieatly

This is for his selfishness because he thinks that you have to much guy friends and might cheat on him. So you need to do something about that because he might try to take over the relationship and then start to abuse you or something.

This is purely selfishness. Moreover, he is infected by inferiority complex. He may hurt u too. Come out of it.

selfishness....ask him how he'd like you to restrict him from talking to other women. You have to be equal in any relationship, especially if you wish to go far in it.
good luck
