When Alqueda in Iraq deliberately killed UN representitives in Iraq, there was rightly international condemnation of the terrorists.

When Israel deliberately attacked the UN observers (after being asked 10 times to stop the bombardment) where is the outcry?

What happened to those UN observers is morally equivalent as Israel KNEW they where there and kept attacking!

I think BOTH attacks a morally reprehensible and disgusting.

OK it is a perfectly clear question, Alqueda in Iraq attacked and killed UN people. Israel has just attacked and killed UN people. Both attacks where deliberate, in Both Attacks they attackers knew that the UN was there,

Do people here see a moral equivalence between the two attacks?

patrickmcc55, I do not hold Israel to a higher standard than al Qaeda or Hezbollah! I hold all humanit to the same standard! they BOTH deliberately target UN personnel. the UN requested 10 times to be evacuated from the Israeli bombardment.

Yes, they are. And the outcry of condemnation is ringing out all over the world.

Just maybe not in the US media. Certainly here in the UK the downright sense of reprehensibility is not lost. But the US has taken a stance and they will remain consistent no matter what Israel do.

War is morally reprehensible. Why is it that you hold Israel to a higher standard than al Qaeda or Hezbollah? Hezbollah has killed more arabs with their rocket attacks than Jews. Al Qaeda has killed thousands of civilians, yet you are most upset at Israel. Accidents occur, if a kid in a tank mistakes a UN outpost for a Hezbollah stronghold thats a tragic mistake. I dont think 20 Al Qeada terroists mistook the WTC as a military target when the killed 3000 civilians.

,,,,well Ive been around the block a few times, and Ive got more grey hair than black.........for the Israelis to say that they didn't know they were there defies belief......they have no compunction in the killing of civilians so why not a few Observers??? what difference does it make to them......NONE. As far as they are concerned GOD is on their side......what a laugh that is. They are doing nothing, and have done nothing to stabalise the area. They are the worst kind of Hypocrite...........

I agree with you that Jewish actions of brutality are always kept secret or very underestimated.
By the way, there is NO Al-Qaeeda in Iraq.
Yes, Israel is very disgusting brutal regime.

Not sure what the question is here, after reading your outline. The UN is not, and has never been, an attacking force.
