Why does the US government supply Israel with weapons to kill people and then the same government gives aid.?

Why does Israel get a pass for bombing an UN post when Israeli IDF knew it was there?

Israel is doing the world a favour by getting rid of terrorists, and they were probably just sending a message to the un not to interfere. Keep in mind Israel is the good guys here.

Probably the same reason Iran and Syria does. But the US aid is for Lebanese CIVILIANS who happen to be hurt because HEZBOLLAH hides in the middle of towns and behind women and children.

I can't think of a single reason to bomb the post intentionally. UNLESS you want to blame the UN for not making Lebanon honor the deal that was brokered by the UN prior to Israel pulling out of Lebanon.

Since they weren't doing anything about Hezbollah other than watching(were they really watching), why were they even there? Was there Hezbollah near the post? Before I jump on Israel I want to know a few more facts.

The deal in a nutshell was: 1. Israel pulls out of Lebanon(UN monitored of course). 2. Lebanon was to disarm Hezbollah (UN monitored of course). 3. Israel was to release all prisoners captured during their occupation of Lebanon AFTER Hezbollah was disarmed.

Part 1 was done. Part 2 Obviously never was done. Who knows if Part 3 would have been done because Lebanon didn't disarm Hezbollah.

Without US military aid, Israel would be eliminated. US aid allows them to defend themselves.
Accidents occur. The fact that Israeli intelligence knew it was there does not mean some 19 year old kid in a tank knew that it was a UN outpost.

Why does Syria and Iran supply Hezbollah with weapons to kill people? Israel is defending itself against Hezbollah. Lebanons President is to much of a coward to get rid of Hezbollah. The Islamic and Muslim extremeists has really screwed up the middle east for the Islamists and Muslims that want peace.

Why do we give aid to Lebanon when they started the mess? Why do we deal with Palestinians when their radicals shoot down any peace process that might get off the ground? It could be because we no nothing about the middle east and only make matters worse being there. On the other hand Israel has been fighting for it's existence and the Arab world seems to condemn and attack anyone that doesn't accept it's narrow view of how the world should be.

Because the US Government doesn't have the intelligence to connect the two. They think these are two distinct issues. Not only are these lunatics (Israel) bombing UN Observer posts, they are bombing AMBULANCES! Soon they will be bombing their own, as they seem to be hell-bent on destroying anything that moves. Israel has allows been a pet project of the US. Maybe because we feel a connection to the holy land. Maybe because they are constantly attacked and hated without just cause.
