I want to know just what people think that love means. how you express it. And when you know that someone loves you. how can you tell?

They say love is blind........and that is true. When you love someone you don't see their bad points, you love them regardless. You want to crawl into their skin and be part of them. You want the very best for them even if you deny yourself something. You always put them first and you always think about them. They make your heart jump and they make you feel good about yourself. They bring out your potential and you have no fear. They protect you and care for you.
If they love you back in the same way then you are the luckiest person on this Earth.

Why do they give such long answers! I know what love is.
When you have a child, you keep it and love it and raise it.
You want it. You don't walk away and leave it for your mon to raise. You at least call once in a while to see how they are doing.
You care about other people, especially your own children.
A birthday card that is late, does not make you a father.
Daddy's are supose to love their little girls. Thats what love is.

Love is the realization of true intersubjectivity. We are all connected on a basic level, and when one loves another the two people realize that connection. It feels so right because that is the state in which we are supposed to live.

Sex was made up by nature.
Pheromones and facial symmetry influence partners.
And you know someone loves you when
they want the best for you and send you little reminders of their affection and are considerate of you and your desires as well as their own.
And if they love you they don't cut and past to explain their love it comes from their heart and mind.

the meaning of love is to give great headaches and to make you blind..so stay out of that.don't take the overdose,otherwise you will find yourself knocked on the floor,with you brains our.if you take the normal dose you will go to a preaty place where the flowers grow and you will run naked..and you have moon gravity

Ok. I will try to be concise and as precise as possible.
Love is a "verb" not a noun. So, action is very important (that applies to more than sex for sure.)
A beloved is one who's 'mistakes' don't seems like mistakes i.e you have high level of tolerance for their errors.

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.
