You don't need anything to step into it...
It's all about the Carbons......C
If you have to take the organic chemistry course, please prepare yourself more time to study.(I did this before)
There are lots of materials covered for each class period. You Must make sure you study the materials you just learn at the end of day. And stuyd the materials again before your next class period. (This help will help).
For the Lab part, you will read the pre-lab and do the questions for the lab one day before you step into lab and do it.
For the Lab unknown report, you want to make sure you write down any kind of results for your unknown and dated the results you have done.
I almost got a B, and barely made to an A for the first one.
The second semaster organic chemistry is easier (of course, you have already done the first session)
good luck!
It's organic
and it's fun!

Organic chemistry is the chemistry of compounds of carbon & hydrogen (plus oxygen & nitrogen).
It is inaccurately called organic chemistry; it was originally named "organic" as it was believed that all these compounfs were found in nature, hence organic.
In deed virtually every chemical essential to life itself is organic in defintion, which is interesting enough. It is a vast subject & can be intriguing, though very frustrating purely through the volume of available information.
Without organic chemistry there would be no life!(Well, at least no carbon based life).

Don't step into Organic Chemistry; it is messy. Smelly, too.

organic chemistry is chemistry of living things. it was divided from inorganic early on. to get into it you need to sit down and do some chem every day. will make things loads easier

it is the study of carbon based chemicals. It was formed to teach people better how to create substances from bonding of carbon and hydrogen. When stepping to it you should know which type of bond carbon requires, it's valency and of hydrogen.
