I want to know about the law on bootlegging can I make mix cds and sell them what is the law on them?

I sell mix cds and do desktop publishing and don't want to get into trouble and I don't the law please help find the law on the topic

You cannot legally sell anything you have copied from commercial CD's The material on them is all protected by copyright laws. All you have to do is read the labelling. They make it pretty clear.
