No no no. It has been pretty much proven that indoor air is more contaminated than the air outside. Many building products used to construct your home release gasses over time, one of the most typical being formaldehyde. So if you want to die from pollution, your best bet is to stay cooped up inside.

No. Indoor air pollution is often many times worse than outdoor air pollution, especially in big cities with older buildings such as new york, chicago, LA, etc.

No such thing as safe from air pollution. All kinds of smell travels through the air unless you are not living thing.

Absolutely not. But you can clean up the air inside your home with lots of plants, good air filters in your heating/cooling, and if you really need clean air in your home, set it up with a hepa-filter air filtration system. Remember that the air you breath always comes from the outdoors.

Most homes carry MORE pollution than outside. Trees absorb outside pollution, but unless you got a good HEPA filter indoors, your lungs are doing the job. Dust, mold, radon gas...

No the air outside will circulate into your home one way or another. Best bet is to get an air purifier or something like that.

OMG definitely not. Havent you heard that home is the worst culprit for lousy air and breathing?!

However, I love summer. With the use of 'swampers', household air is constantly being renewed/recirulated!
