Please put this question to your Corporate bosses. They are looking to make profit (for whatelse they are doing business? Not for charity).

Outsourcing is a global business strategy. Employees cant do anything when employer sees benefit out of it.

Don't blame the Indian workers, blame the American corporations. A corporation's main objective is profitability. To increase profits, you either need to increase revenue, decrease expenses or both. The biggest expense a company will have is Payroll. So, American companies are saying "Hey, why should I pay an American $30,000 a year to do this job, when I can pay a worker in India $700 a year to do the same job".

Let me ask you this, if you were going to hire someone to do some work for you around your house, would you hire someone that will charge you $20/hr. or someone that can do the same work for $1/hr?

If you have an issue with outsourcing, take it up with corporate America, not the Indian workers. What fool in his right mind would turn down a job? If an British company offered you a good job doing would you accept it, or say "No, I'm not going to take the job of a British citizen"? Some people may reject it on those grounds, but most people would accept it.

Indian workers are not stealing jobs...foreign company's are giving it to them based on costs cuts, experience and caliber...beat all three and then take your jobs back....cheap labor and good performances are indians' forte...its a competition and may the best country or person win...

I think its part of the globalisation reality that workers move freely from one location to other wherever they feel comfortable to work, get more salray etc. We cannot stop the process.

Well then you gotta reduce your standards of pay. Progammers there make like $3 an hour compared to US standards.
