I just have a lot of trouble getting that B chord because it hurts my fingers.

I don't know the song Yoda, but if you tell me the chords I can show you how to play it in a different key that doesn't require that chord.

But, its probably the way that you are fingering it that is giving you a problem. Is this the chord voicing that you are using; x24442? Are you trying to use your third finger to fret all of the notes on the fourth fret? There are a few other things that you can try that will help. First try using the exact same shape but use your pinky instead of your third finger to fret the three notes on the fourth fret. And forget about playing the note on the second fret of the high E string. Next try this fingering; 799877 with your first finger holding down the notes on the 7th fret. If neither of these work try this; x244xx Its a simple power chord that will still sound like the B major chrod without being as difficult to play. Use your third and four fingers to play the notes on the 4th fret. If that doesn't work try this; xx444x using your first finger to play the whole thing, or xx987x........

See if these things help you out before you abandon the song, and the chord.

You could always play it on a different scale that doesn't require the B chord.
