if driver is updated in windows, previous partition is shown deleted. What is the remeady....

problem is that only 128GB is shown in install option ..... if i install win and conti, running utility of seagate removes the partition. even sp4 is helpless.

Try slipstreaming Service Pack 4 into a new CD and install using that.

partition the disk when you install Win2K allocate say 100gb to each partition
creaete a separate logical volume the system disk will be C: the other D:

r u sure its the os that restricting the config i think its probably bios. i have a 250 drive running on windows 2k partitioned three ways

partition is the best idea
but they are 4 service packs and i believe one of these solved that problem
