Yes, checked it yesterday with the officials. You are ok on a UK passport

No, you need to apply for a new passport when you only have 6 months left on your present one. The passport offices take ages to process replacements.

Yes it is, as long as you are not staying for more than the 6 months left on your passport.

dont bother...if u are from europe u dont need passport,and u surely wouldnt wanna stay here for 6months....u will get bored as soon as summer ends...have fun here when u come.....
