Yes, it's normal. The *sperm* is all that matters, and it does what it's going to do regardless of what the semen does. The only job the semen has in reproduction is to get the sperm into her body; once those 15 seconds are up, semen is out of the picture.
There is no evidence that having the woman keep her hips elevated after sex helps, but it can't hurt to try it. It is unlikely to do anything, as the cervix is about 2/3 the way up the front of the vagina, not on top in back.
The best thing you can do to give yourselves the best chance of conceiving is to read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. It has lots of information on female fertility (and some on male fertility, as well).

One of the most important things to remember when trying to get pregnant --before and after you have difficulty -- is to relax, and enjoy making love. Worrying about how much semen is escaping your body may only be setting yourself up for more difficulties later. Women have been becoming pregnant for a long, long time, and as far as I know, semen has always leaked out. I have this happen -- it might make a spot on the sheets, but there is nothing abnormal about it. Enjoy the afterglow of love making with your wife -- don't make her rush to the bathroom, and don't do so yourself. Laying still, enjoying the moment -- that is what helps.

I had a hard time conceiving so I learned that after lovemaking I lay on the bed w/my knees up and feet on the bed. First thing to do is put one or two pillows(depends on how big the pillows are)underneath her b4 intercourse and follow w/the other step. I used to lay there about 15 min. I now have two beautiful girls....GOOD LUCK...

that's conventional. Sperm IS promptly released once you ejaculate; your semen contains the sperm and, even however lots of it is going to circulate out in a while, sufficient could proceed to be to do the activity. even with the undeniable fact that, in case you are trying for somewhat one, your spouse ought to objective putting a pair of pillows decrease than her hips and staying like that for 20 minutes when you have ejaculated. there is no assure, however, and in case you initiate getting apprehensive and fussing too lots approximately it, this could keep away from her conceiving besides. I choose you the superb of success.

Have her elevate her hips on a pillow for about 15 minutes after intercourse. That should help keep the bulk of the semen in place.

It's normal for it to come out. It's not like her body is going to absorb it. If she is fertile, her mucous takes the good boys for the ride of their lives while the wasted ones get flushed out. Simple as that.

Of course that's normal. The strongest sperms will find their way to the target. Don't worry about it.

i dont think that there is anything wrong with that. It's normal. And remember that it only takes one sperm cell to fertilize an egg so there is nothing to worry about.
