It was a poor excuse to go into Iraq. The Iraqi's still had not fully recovered militarily from the first gulf war. The problem was that he refused to acccept the consequences of his failure in Kuwait. That tends to piss people off, especially when they have beaten you up once. Politics is a game of telling people what they want to hear. So in light of the attacks on the buildings formerly know as the World Trade Center, they used to weapons and terrorism to justify the loss of lives and freedoms. Meanwhile two countries were battling over a seemingly worthless piece of land and both have developed nuclear capability-funny how they slipped under the radar.
To sum up
The WMD was a poor excuse, it doesn't change the fact that Sadaam should probably not stay in control of unlimited resources-he is dangerous. The problem is that the people of Iraq are distinctly separated into two groups that don't like each other and whoever comes to power will abuse people anyway. Democracy in our sense of the word goes against some of their beliefs. Most people will choose the lesser of two evils-just like the presidential election.

300 shells tipped with Sarin and Mustard gas have been found in Iraq. The military weapons inspectors expect to find more, and confess that to date only 1% of all suspected weapons sites have been cleared in Iraq. Please do not respond to me that these weapons were unusable as I have also read the Army report. While usable or not is a debatable point, what is not in dispute is that they are still by definition weapons of mass destruction, and they were found in Iraq.

USA have weapons of mass destructions(WMDs) up to over 900 nuclear warheads...but if u are talking of the Iraqi issue...so no WMDs have been found.....but Sadaam did not cooperate, if he allowed UN specialist to inspect, all this would not have happened...but its not im favoring USA, this invasion, should not have taken place
