No, it's not real.
Years ago I was at a slumber party, some of the girls tried the whole Bloody Mary thing in the mirror, it didn't work so they chanted her name in the dark, that didn't work either.
It's just folklore...

uh, if your talkin about the mirror, there is an explanation (scientific) for why you see something in the mirror.

When the lights are on, and you spin 3 or 5 times and then turn out the lights, you will see a faded image of your OWN face in the mirror and you see that because your eyes are trying to adjust to the darkness right after taking in light (through the pupil).
This is the basis for the Bloody Mary effect you see in the mirror.
