Try going to Tools>Options>Click the General Tab>Click "Connection Settings" and try either:

Direct connection to the Internet

or if that doesn't work then

Auto detect proxy settings for this network.

The "direct connection to the internet" should work though and is how mine is set up. The auto detect proxy settings setting would work better if you were on a network.

Hope that helps, if not i'll update this answer for you with other ideas!

Good luck!

Whatever you do don't use Internet Explorer! lol.

A simple solution would be to configure fire fox for a direct Internet connection. To do this follow these instructions:
1. Start Fire fox
2. Click on the Tools button on the menu
3. Select the Options button from the list
4. Select Connection Settings
5. Select the "direct Connection" option and click OK

That should solve your problem. If not contact your ISP and request for your proxy settings and enter them in the Connections settings.. Good Luck

i've got faith it ability, the two by some ability your replica of Firefox have been given corrupted or, in simple terms the shortcut did not arise to date, final time you as much as date Firefox. First attempt, circulate to My computer and look down in C--> software information--> Mozilla--> and down in that folder you will discover firefox.exe and you're able to top-click it to create a shortcut. and then, click that shortcut to make certain if it runs properly. If it does, then you extremely're waiting. (top-click the different shortcut icon, the single that grew to become into providing you with a not user-friendly time, and click delete to get it out of your existence.) Else, if that doesn't paintings, then top-click the issue-maker icon and delete it besides, and circulate into start up--> Settings--> administration Panel--> upload and get rid of courses ...and uninstall Firefox, then circulate on line with (yuk) internet Explorer for a 2d and acquire a style new clean replica of Firefox.
