I have used Gmail for ages, I like it! I believe you still need to be invited to become a user, email an email address for you to me via 360 and I can send an invite to you

Re Gmail, I think you still need to be invited so you need to find someone who's already got an account.

of course, gmail is very good in all aspects, 2+GB storage, easy to access and easy to find your old emails. But if you create an an account from UK, you wont get @gmail.com instead you will have @googlemail.com because of legal matters. And to open an account you have to invited from any users.

just read the previous answers, and you need to be invited?!!! well I downloaded google earth and they just like gave me a mail acount, not telling me my user name or password or anything so i cannot access the damn thing. I don't remember entering any of my details so i have no clue why this happened. try downloading earth from www.earth.google.com and see if the same happens to you!

I would say it's pretty average as a webmail program.
It is good for online storage, but seeing as Google seem to crawl everything I am not comfortable using it for anything sensitive.
