I feel the penis doesn't enter much into me... Ejaculation occurs very soon after the penis is in... to get pregnant the penis needs to go quite deep and then ejaculate is it?

Sperm travels up towards your eggs.
Try putting a pillow under your bum so your womb is tipped backward to help the sperm travel.

You are mistaken!!! If god had wanted it so, he would hve made needle shaped penis which will pierce the uterine os and deposit the sperm right on top of the ovum!!! So depth/length has nothing to do with ittLying down still on your back and not urinating for some time will aloow the sperms to complete their obstacle race and the best will reach the right spot!! Clear???

I guess your man needs to practice pelvic floor exercises for staying power. But no matter if he's in far enough or not, you can still get pregnant. After her ejaculates, try proping butt on a couple of pillows. Gravity might help do the trick.

you may want to use a lubricant, sometimes if there is not enough lubrication the penis won't go too far, there is a great lubricant called Pre-seed sold online only www.preseed.com, you might want to check it out. If he is behind you (doggy style) you can assure a very deep penetration.
