trivial issue indeed. First u shud determine y do u need an MBA? y not MS in s/w engg? In case u still need an MBA with a concentration of IT, go for MBA - MIS. Secondly, you should have atleast 2+ years of work experience to get into a nice place.

Do you want to stay a software tester all your life? It seems to me that this is usually given to entry level people.

An MBA will allow you to go off into other (much more interesting) areas. You needn't specialize if you don't konw what might interest you. Take classes that interest you. There is nothing wrong with oholding off on that option of choosing a concentration.
