Nero 6 and 7 both are good for burning the DVD, Audio, mp3, vedio& audio cds

Either Nero or Roxio.

I find Nero best for films, and Roxio best for Music CD's.

Nero Burn is the best to burn CDs and DVDs both. I use the same.

I've always found Nero to be quite simple to you and it works well.

For "Backing-up" dvds, I would use DVD shrink. It is free adownload.
