My boyfriend and I was laying in bed one day, and he told me that he played with himself. I was really bothered when he told me this. I told him he was sick and he said that it was his and that he could play with it if he wanted and that I needed to grow up. How I see it is if he can play with himself then he does not need me. Should I be upset? What should I say to him?

It's perfectly natural, and almost everyone in the world does it.

The majority, so you actually fall into the minority feeling this way.... Try it yourself, and you'll soon learn that it is fine, and that even though you can pleasure yourself you still need your boyfriend to help out now n then. Or if it disgusts you then, so be it. Just ask your boy'f not to talk about it again.

Well there's your objection in your 3rd to last sentence...

You're afraid that if he can satisfy himself, you'll be out or there.

Trust me, he did this before he knew you, during the time he knew you, and, should you break up he will do it then. I assure you... the first time you kissed... then went home, he "took care of business".

This is always an outlet for us. Certainly we don't enjoy it as much as actual contact, any kind of contact, with our gal. (And news flash, if guys were double-jointed, a lot of us wouldn't be married)

NO you should not be upset. You should be UPSET if he doesn't do this NORMAL activity. Trust me, you don't want to sign up for the "job", of taking care of him whenever he's horny. You have to CHOOSE your TIMES to RELATE SEXUALLY.

What should you say to him:

"GREAT, next time can I watch? oh and... I hope you don't mind if I participate". Seriously.... Married guys do it... I would venture to say... if you're any good in bed at ALL... He's THINKING of YOU.

He should not be doing that infront of you. It is disrespectful to you unless you ask him to do that. However most men still do that when they are in a relationship. My husband told me that he does sometimes and I don't have a problem with it as long as I don't know about it. The time that it becomes a problem would be if he prefered that over you which I doubt it.

every guy on the earth, OK almost every guy would like to experiment with themselves, he is right in a way it his equipment and he may touch and play with it whenever he like to. don't feel not needed anymore or "not useful" guys do masturbation all the time, but he still loves you and wants your body i mean he is just helping himself out when your not around, do you want him to let another girl do the job for him when your not around?? i didn't think so, let the man do what he is doing, you try it out then you can please yourself when his not around??

It is a normal thing that guys do. I'm a guy. I do that too. My girlfriend knows about it and she's ok with it. You should just relax. There's nothing to worry about.

it's normal. Before my husband and I was married he used to do it even though we had sex all the time. now that we're married he don't do it more. It's a guy thing, don't worry.
