Independiente, from Argentina, won 5 straight Libertadores titles, in the 70's. No other team equals that, specially considering South American football is far superior to the European one.

It will definitely be Liverpool F.C., firstly is because of its rich history, and if you want the specific year to talk with, then take the season 2004-2005 for example, the way they won the champion league was really magnificent. They were the last team i suppose people would have thought to win the champions league that season but guess what, they won it with pure class, 3 goals down at first half but champions at the end of the day at Istanbul. That goes down in history of world soccer as the best comeback as ever, for all the Liverpool fans out there, You'll Never Walk Alone!

This kind of question are very hard to answer because most fans are close minded and can't see nothing but their own clubs. My vote will go to Racing Club of Argentina, from 1964 to 1966. They were so attack minded and everybody went ford ward, leaving behind only their central back, Perfumo and the goalkeeper, Cejas. These two were so great players that they took care of any counter attack all by themselves. They became winners of the Intercontinental Cup. And I never was a fan of this club.

Awh! Well this is interesting… I would have to say Hamburger ‘78, Bayern was good in the eighties, than maybe Barca were the best in 1992/93, juve in the mid nineties and for last 2002 – 2006 i gota say arsenal…
