In your backup program you will see all of the discs/devices.
There is also an option for System State. Select this to get all of the OS settings.
When backing up it is worth noting that you to not need to back up your temporary internet files.

Get a hard disk of same capacity, Put it as slave with the current one and then select Mirror Image from Control Panel. It will prepare as it is mirror image of the HDD u r working with now, and copy all the files including ur OS.
