The only way I can think of is to termorarily turn your PC into a web server. Then give the other person access to your PC so they can download it.
I would use HFS from http://www.rejetto.com/hfs/
Its free and very easy to use, when your done close it and thats it, no more web server.
You can setup passwords and only give them access to the one file. This way its all secure.
I use this to give me access to all my movies and files from my PSP, i even made a nice and handy package http://psp.servegame.com for PSP owners.

Hi,
The best way I have found is to use the MSN Live messenger service - ensure the other person is on too and do a direct File Transfer - assuming the Firewall on the other pc does not stop the transfer and the other person hits the "Accept" button you should have no problems - it worked for me.
Cheers

Your ISP and the receiver's ISP usually set a limit as to how large attachments can be. 2 GB would be way over the usual limit, which 15MB is the largest limit I am aware of. Your best bet would be to use a file splitter program and send it in chunks, which can then be put back together on the receiver's end. Go to www.downloads.com for a great choice of splitter programs.

Are you trying to send it to yourself, on a different computer?
If so, create a free Gmail account (if you don't already have one), download the Mozilla Firefox browser for free (if you don't already use it... fyi personally I think it's much better than IE...), download the "Gmail Space" extension (search for it on the Firefox extensions site, you can get to it from the Tools menu in Firefox), and upload all your stuff. Then, you can go to the other PC and retrieve it all.
This could be effective even if you were sending it to someone else, as long as you could use their computer to log into your Gmail account and retrieve the files for them.

To be honest thats quite a difficult task, as sending any large data over the internet can be cumbersome!
Best idea, is to use a Messaging program like YAHOO MESSENGER or MSN MESSENGER - then Send Files...?
...Or, burn the data onto a DVD and post it (bit slower though) :D

I would just download a FTP program like CuteFTP and use it to host the file on your computer and then connect to your ftp server from the other computer and download the file.
