Yes it is possible to change the Start Button even you can change the word START written on the tab. U need to edit the explorer.exe file in Dos mode. open this in Dos mode with Open Binary option, find in Column 215 or like that U will find its written START deleate each letter and overwrite what U want and then save and close . restart the PC

try some hack.Be sure you know hexadecimal
Be prepare for System Crash
Although there are some stuff available on net from that you could change start button name

yea, go to download.com and search software for WinPersonalizer its a fun little app that lets yo change stuff like that, to whatever you want, its not a freebe but it lets you try for free for a while and besides giving the programmers some denero for their efforts is a good thing to do, keeps them programming and keeps you happy with their results. I like to think...hey we ALL gotta EAT!
