I cannot believe the amount of answers here that is endorsing widespread death and destruction, the reason there is a war on terror is to avoid civilian death and destruction yet Israel is indulging its blood lust and the Israeli army is conducting a state sponsored terrorist campaign against Lebanese civilians and they are being thanked for it. I agree that no country should have to put up with rocket attacks yet if you all remember this was not the original reason for Israeli incursion into Lebanon, the original reason was because some soldiers were kidnapped, but this excuse won't fly anymore because to many civilians have killed in their name, so Israel has switched to plan B. So who will stop them? America of course, but not until it has completed the task America has set it. Israel divides the Arab world and is a key ally in a place were it doesn't have to many, so America is calling the Israeli shots, keep the pressure on Arabs, keep them distracted, while America steals the oil. It is also important to keep them divided because if the Arabian oil producing countries were to unite it would break the American oil dominance and upset the value of the dollar which the U.S economy depends on just to keep the economy afloat, especially now, after Iraq, which has cost substantially more than expected. Why do Americans allow billions of their dollars to go into bombing and re-building a country while their kids sit in overcrowded classrooms and their health care is among the most expense in the world? But anyway once America has achieved it aims and gained total dominance over the worlds oil production and when that suplly finally runs out, America will abandon Israel to its faith, of course what does Israel ask in return for doing all the dirty work America could never be publically seen doing? Just turn a blind eye, that all, turn a blind eye to the occasion mass murder, ethnic cleansing, of course when this state terrorism happened in Iraq America couldn't get in quick enough/ Whats the difference between Israeli terrorism and Iraqi terrorism? America calls the shots in Israel, thats the difference.

They were defeated in a series of battles by the Lebanese resistance in the recent past and they had to retreat and leave most of the South Lebanese lands they invaded. Who knows; maybe the current invasion is going to come to an end too.
It's very hard to defeat Hezbollah and the Muslim cause in general. They and the other movements are so fueled with dedication and belief. I mean look at the jews. Do u think that, under any circumstances, u might hear of even one Jewish suicide bomber?? Suicide bombing is an act of extremism okay but it is still an indication of a strong belief that u stand on the side of light. One for which u might make a sacrifice. The jews' quest, however, is selfish and unjustifyable. They are taking what doesn't rightfully belong to them and they know it. I don't think they can fool even themselves. The world rejected them for being mean serpents throughout history from one territory to another; and now they think they can self-righteously fight their way to establish a place to call their home?? well, good luck then but I'm afraid it's not gonna happen...

Let's see Israel is the lapdog of the world's only superpower so that rules US out, UK cant attack because Tony Blair is the lapdog of Bush, If Syria attacks, its civilian population is going to be destroyed, if Iran attacks, US will attack Iran and all this time UN will stand and watch helplessly as let's face it, its a useless organization which has not been able to prevent warfare and needs to be disbanded.

The attitudes of all the people who responded here is the real root of the problem none of you want peace you're all bent on war. Everyone has a right to exist the only one who has a right to take life is the one who gave it and that is GOD or ALLAH however you want to label the creator of all things in this world. You want peace learn to accept all people regardless of their beliefs be it Christianity, Islam, the Jewish faith or Buddhists or even Atheists. Learn to be compassionate of all things living it's the selfishness in the world that has led us all down the road to total destruction.

Well Muslim world can fight against ISRAEL,(Saudi,Gulf countries,Pakistan,Iran,Syria,Jordan,.... name it)If only muslim countries unite and fight against Israel and America we can let them runnaway and go back to their own grounds. who have kept this in people's mind that Hezbollah are the terrorists they are just defending their own people it is Israel keeping thousands of Lebanese in his prison and now killing thousands of others for the sake of their 2 soldiers,this insane.So Israel'is are the state terriorism not Hezbollah.
