i m work permit holder as asstmanager 16k salary promoted as director in same chain hotel.do i need new permit

i m working now in marriott hotel and promoted as director in another marriott hotel in uk.the owner may be different.therefore do i need new work permit or to obtain permission of home office.where to apply.

You will of course need to get legal advise on this matter but from what I understand, if you are still within the same industry and with the same employer then you do not require a new work permit. Marriott hotels are chain hotels owned under the same umbrella company. If your petition was filed under the corporate umbrella name then you are probably fine. I recommend you talk to HR about the best way to deal with this since each situation is inevitably different.
