I am 21 now, When I was 16, I noticed hair growing, thick black hair. Its now covering my entire body (Chest, Shoulders, Back).I have looked into laser treatment but I dont have much money and my Social health services wont help me, apparently its too big an area. Which leaves me wanting to kill myself again. I realise after reading info on here and by the general reactions of allot of others it isnt accepted in general. I suffer from depression anyway. Do any of you who say Euuu to hair realise how were effected by it?

babe if it affects u that much, go for a wax job, that is cheaper then laser surgery, u wil just have to put up with the pain if it is depressin u so much.
the general public wil always find something about people to criticise, thats just the way society is these days, but dont let them win and instead of lettin it get u down so much think of all the other things u have got goin for u and think of options like waxing or shavin which wil boost your confidence.

There's no reason to commit suicide over your appearance, if you really hate your hair, shave it or have it waxed. Also, not everyone likes the same things on this planet and though I like hairless guys, a lot of my friends like rather the opposite so you've still got a good shot at finding a girl.
The truth is you're probably blaming your hair problem for other things that have gone wrong in your life and that's why you feel suicidal. Start analysing things with open honesty and you'll find out that your hair probably has very little to do with your problems. And if you still feel suicidal, get some counselling, that might help. But don't take your life, it takes a bit of learning but honestly, life can be loads of fun if you give it a chance!

Aliviel's son; 18 years old:

Hey there dude, I completely understand where your coming from with this one. Like you, I have exactly the same problem - I've got hair on my chest, back, stomach, shoulders, legs and every other conceivable area you can think of (not nice I know). I started getting this, would you believe, when I was about 13 or 14 years old. I've always been self concious about it because most, if not all guys I know, have no apparent hair on their bodies and I've asked myself whether it's something wrong with me.

Until recently I've just left it, thinking that nothing could really be done. It has impacted on my life because I won't take my top of if it's too hot, preferring to keep covered up, and I certainly won't go swimming anytime soon. To be completely honest, I won't go out with anyone either, in case they hate it.

What I did do was buy a hair grooming set for my facial hair, (goatee, eyebrows, side burns) and a set for my body hair. I took it upon myself the first time to trim the hair on the chest and stomach but instead of trimming it, I went right down to the skin. Honestly, I was horrified! I'd gone 5 years with hair on my body and suddenly (after TWO shaver recharges!) my front was now completely bare. It was hell for the next couple of weeks as the hair grew back in and I learnt my lesson that instead of getting rid of it completely, just to keep it trimmed short. I did have a look in the mirror while I was doing it and I have to say that it didn't look to bad at all.

My advice would be to keep it trimmed on the chest and stomach and perhaps a wax on your back if so often. This way would be easier I think. I'm actually considering going to the doctor about it, maybe get blood tests to see if I've got a hormone problem.

What gets me down is that most people do go "Eww... hair!" but for every person who hates hair, their will be those who actually like it so I wouldn't worry.

Hope this helps and good luck with it for both you and me!

I have seen a movie about this problem. It is something quite complicated involving hormones and brain and I don't know what. I guess it might be complicated to get aid but your illness might be interfering with your work, so try to see with the social health care what can be done in cases when the illness is preventing you from mixing with others or going to work because you are feeling / others think you are too ugly etc.
You could shave it... There are some producst which decrease the speed of growing of the hairs. Check at some local store.

Dont do anything that drastic man, it aint that much of a problem. If you are skint, get yourself down to your local Boots or Superdrug store (if you are UK based) and get a pot of home waxing stuff and wax it. Sure its not the most comfortable way of removing hair - but it will get better the more you wax it - you will only need to do it every 3/4 weeks. Get a mate, a girlfriend or even your mum to do it. And if you have a bit more money, go to a beauty salon and get it done - its not unusual, but the effects are great. It will make you feel so much better once you have it done.

Yeah, I'm in that position too. The fools who think you should shave off your body hair should think about how a body load of stubble can feel to a sexual partner. Waxing costs time, money and a lot of pain (male body hair tends to be thicker than female body hair.

And yes, women who glibly state that hairy bodies are gross should have their podgy bellies and saggy breasts mentioned in the same conversation.

Stop !

You can very easily, once a month go to a salon and get that waxed.. in fact, waxing last for about 6 weeks.

Are you olive skinned? If so, then thats your natural appearance and please don't let it worry you like it has. Nobody is paying you any special attention for it, there are lots of dark skinned people, male and female with hairy arms, legs chests.. its normal.

Thankfully you are male. Imagine being female , olive skinned and having to deal with excess facial hair?? Those girls get it waxed or electrolysis..

Good luck & don't let your fluffy bits, rule your life.

Look up, beauty salons on yell, find a local one, and go get it waxed , to give yourself some peace.

I have a single guy here in my resort, he is a hair ball and admits he hates it. Today I introduced him to Tu, she loves Europeans and is looking for a boyfriend. She told him she liked his hairy body, "makes you look strong." she said. They are kissing on the side of the pool, she is running her fingers through the hair on his back. Tu is 18 and one of the most beautiful girls in the world. You can see her on my site, she's the little photo that expands. Only access my site if you are over 25, it contains love. www.resortcaroline.com I am not looking for customers, I have enough, but I would like you to know that a girl this beautiful can love you, hairy or not. Don't shave, find a girl who loves you and your hairy back.

Want to know how to get your ex back? Change yourself. Don't worry about changing other people, worry about changing yourself. Go to https://tr.im/AKiLB

Once you do that then you can start to worry about getting back together with your ex, other wise you will find that you are fighting about all the same things and getting no where. Do what it takes and I promise things will work out in your favor.

The funny thing is I came to the realization that I had to change a little too late. After I was kicked out and after I was about to lose the only things that truly mattered to me - her love. A funny thing happens when we truly love someone and lose them. We do what ever it takes to get them back. For me I had to drop bad habits that had caused not only our relationship to sour but practically every other relationship I had had in the past. Not only with women, but with friends, co-workers, family, you name it.

Which is why I say to you as my ex at the time said to me, the only thing you can do is change yourself. Work on yourself and improve on the person that you already are. Drop the negative things in your life that don't belong there and you will see all of your relationships start to take off to new heights.
