Try to stay away from anything too trendy and be thoughtful of the spelling. Remember that "cute baby boy" will someday be a man of 40 Be mindful of this and give a name that will not cause him ridicule in school. Think beforehand of any associations with a name, or things that could rhyme with it that would cause a kid to be harrassed. For example, I loved the name Marilla, but all I could think of is some little jerk screaming Marilla Gorilla at my unborn child. Also think of how the initials will come together. One of my friends' initials spells out "HAG".

I love the name Ethan John. Its cute for a baby boy but it is also good for when he grows up to be a man. If my third child would have been a boy this was the name we would have chosen.

What does he look like? A Harry? William, Luke ?Carson, Mervyn?Jake (I love that) Jack (nice one too) Tyson ?Brian ?Abraham? What I'm trying to say is, what will suit him? Try saying a few out loud and putting it with his surname. Some thing that will roll off the tongue easily and also consider that he has to spell it too.
