Who are your female role models and why? For example, mine include Elena Zamolodchikova, who won the 2000 Olympics Gymnastics in the vault and the floor exercise and also Marion Jones who won a number of Athletics medals. I look up to these women because they combined achievement, personality and beauty. What about you?

My first female role model is my mother and all other Black women who have been the head of the house for many generations and are doing great raising well-adjusted kids. Having two parents is believed to be best, but one strong parent is better than two weak ones anyday, especially when the wife doesn't have a life of her own outside of the home. Many of those kids are maladjusted and the fathers are in the home.
Secondly, Oprah Winfrey, she had brains enough to know that by not having a child was saving another life from being neglected because her career was her baby. She recognized that she could not be everything to her kids and decided not to have any. She has made such a difference in the world with her generosity that she did not have time to spend raising kids and if she chose to raise kids and have the career that she has they would have beeen raised by nannies. And that would not be being a good mother or role model for mothers.

Mother Teresa. Why? As a woman i believe it's very hard to scarifies her own desires for other people, But she did!! She born some where , she grown up some where else..But she choose to serve people totally different place for different people. She went the places , serve , care share their suffer with the who ever doesn't like to do easily. That's why she called as a Mother by whole world. The stage of mother is not a easy job. But you gonna have your own kids when you be a mom. But she treat more than million people as her own children. They are poor, illness patients , the patients who suffered by leprosy and aids and other suffered people. When she died whole world cry for her. Still in Calcutta , India the people who cared by her mourn with out her . It cannot be tell about her in words... She is not a drop of water. She was an ocean when share her love with each and every one. She was a sky when she gave her care and help to other people. When the whole world which has different ethnic , different language, different culture , different religion never saw her as a christian nun, She doesn't behave that she belong to a certain religion or certain ethnic. The world saw her as it's own mother . The whole society treat her as their own mother.. For this kind of gift will not happen to every one. The only one woman got that gift and she worked hard but not for a reward, She worked for her heart. That was priceless. Can any woman be like her? It's doubt. I don't think there will be another role model for her....

Mine's not actually a real person, but Eowyn, a character from Lord of The Rings seemed pretty cool to me when she killed a major villain whom no living man could kill.
Oh, and also this girl called Sohara who is two classes my senior, is an extremely cool debator with an awesome personality.

Jordan.
l know that sounds really shallow, but l quite admire the fact that a girl who knew she was no brain surgeon, still made something of her self with what shes got and doesn't rely on any man in her life to help her out as shes got money, a job and a life that's all her own.

Oprah, someone who came from nothing, made something of herself, and uses that noteriety to help others through education and funding.

Hillary Clinton, who was a rock when her marriage almost crumbled and managed to save it, all in the public eye.

My mom, for raising great kids, having a great husband, and being a master at balancing family and work. She retired from nursing recently and deserved it.

Scarlett Johansson, because she seems very sophisticated and always nicely presented, and maybe Angelia 'fat-lipped baby collector' Jolie, because she seems so down to earth.
