A normal everyday person lives by a code of what is right and what is wrong, which comes from a proper upbringing. Once you make a decision based on this sense of right and wrong, DON"T second guess yourself, you will go nuts. You cannot control the outcome of a decision you make. There will be factors involved beyond your control.

There is no such thing as the right decision. Even if a choice you made appears to have been the wrong one you don't know what the result of choosing the alternative would have been. The result of the alternative could have been not just wrong but disastrous which would make the choice you made the right one.
Arguably the only wrong choice you can make results in death (some people even make this choice willingly so is it wrong?) anyway by that point you really won't be a position to worry.
Hope that my point of view on this makes sense to you.

The future holds an element of uncertainty. For as long as that exists, fear and doubt will. Only way to learn is from history, personal and other people's experience. But then humans are all individuals and situations differ from one moment to another.

I guess that there is always the "What if....." thing going on in the back of your mind, but if you make a decision, keep thinking about the reasons you made that decision, that should help to re-enforce in your mind that you made the right choice.

jeez, as far as i know there's no element in the periodic table for fear and doubt and i havn't heard of such an 'element' :-)
anyways, its very normal for people to doubt their decesions since they don't know the future and knowing the consequnces of the decision dosn't help either. unless we don't know the future, there always will be an element of uncertainity.
