It's easier to accept that their is a life after death thats all.

Who knows? We will just have to wait and see, and if there is, when your turn comes, you can say "see Dad, you was wrong all that time"

I think it's best to treat the idea as completely irrelevant whilst using the life you have to make the best of your abilities and opportunities while looking after those around you, even the people you don't necessarily like. If there is an afterlife then you might be in for a nice surprise; if there isn't then what does it matter anyway - your life itself has been worthwhile.

I think the spirit of a person that you were close to will stay around but they only let you feel it when they think you need their comfort regardless of what their believes were its the connection of souls and on that note chuckles that's a very nasty thing to say good things happen to good people you don't know how this man lived his life , I hope you never Had to grieve somebody you loved and others were saying those kind of things to you it would hurt you very much

my dad has cancer and will pass away within the next couple of years. he doesn't believe that he will continue to live in a different form. i can't bear that thought, so I'm trying every mystical trick i can to feel more confident that life continues. sorry...not much of an answer. I'd like to say yes to help you - and me - feel better but I can't. some people seem to be certain one way or the other...I really wonder how they can be.

Life after death is like Santa Claus - a pleasant idea to make life a little easier for us... But don't go off the deep end and make a trip to the North Pole.

I believe that when you die you are conscious of nothing, as said in Ecclesiastes 9:5," For the living are conscious that they will die, but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do theyy anymore have wages, becoause the remembrance of them has been forgotten". The dead know nothing, they cannot talk, listen or firghten us in any way. Life after death only occurs when the Resuurection occurs, that is when Jesus comes, that is when all our dead loved one live again.....

I believe biblically, the soul is created by God and is eternal. My mum died 6 years ago and I was worried about this, I wasn't a Christian at the time. Where we go when we die is entirely in the hands of God. Why not ask Him to help you through this time?

i think nobody knows for sure.
So the best thing to do is just be good.
If there is life after death - you will recieve the results of your goods deeds. If not so, doing good does not harm - atleast you can make alot of people happy in this life.
