front wheels are smaller. So they travel more (rotate more) and so wear out more.

I don't know the exact answer either and this is just a wild guess as you don't really give much info... Is it because it's a front wheel drive? I'm guessing that would wear the front tires more as they are pulling the rest. I'm probably wrong though!
