Education would take place even without an organized structure. We learn from each other. We all possess wisdom. It is in the sharing of this knowledge that we become wise. Education is a privilege, not a right. Knowledge belongs to all of us. It is not possible to know everything...therefore, I conclude it is by design; and often brings about unity toward resolution of all the world's great mysteries...in spite of the many different points of view. We do not learn from others just like us...we learn from the differences. In more modern times, learning through books only expands our horizons. I am very pro education...for it is through education we expand our own knowledge to add to another.

Do you mean... How would society be without public education? I just changed the question because everyone gets an education if they learn a trade just from watching their parents or watching someone. But if their were no public education.. it would be a disaster because the poor would always remain poor and the rich would always be able to pay for private education. Our society would probably digress to serfs and Lords.

If without education means without knowledge. Most likely we will be back to ice age. If without education our society will cripple and doom.

A society without Education is the society where knowledge is 95% absent, and lacking of knowledge means lack of intimate to know what is Wright, under slaved nation, their legacy is totally dark to their knowledge and the Bible says My people perish for the lack of knowledge.

Simpler and in someways better. If computers, cell phones, TV... was taken away people would not know what or how to do anything before all this technology their was nothing that we couldn't do. :-)
