Women go through menopause, and I know that at some point a man's equipment will dry up and stop working, but what's the age scale for that? And how do products like Viagra affect it?

I am 65 and can speak from experience. It's a very gradual slowdown but most men can continue to get and maintain erections into their 80's and frequently until death. Of course now Viagra (and Cialas and Levitra) can be of great help but a minority of men don't even need these drugs. At about 60 I came to the realization that I needed Viagra. I could get hard enough for jacking off but you don't need full boners for that. For prolonged f--ing I needed a little help and Viagra did the trick! You do need stimulation with Viagra...it's not an automatic hard on pill! Having a partner who is sexually attractive to you helps too! Staying in good health helps too! Exercise all of your body including your weenie! There is something to the old saying "Use it or lose it!" you know!

It really depends upon the nervous system of the perticular person. even an 80 old can have erections but at an average 60 - 65 is the limit. the thing dont get dry only get weaker. Viagra does affect this a lot but for time being.

before viagra, I think the average age for a man to become erectile dysfunctional is about 60-65 years altho some have passed that age and still be able to have children.... It really depends. Because just like any muscle in the body, it it doesn't get "exercised" often, it becomes flacid..... get my drift?

I disagree with jenny_aqino. I myself experienced it and I saw my grandpa fool around in his 80's. The South Carolina's best senator was doing it in his 90's. I don't think there is any age limit unless a disease or medical condition interfears with that ability.
