My favourite is Inzamam-Ul-Haq from Pakistan. I chose him because I think he is the only man in International Cricket whom you can depend on. He is the world's 2nd Highest Run-Scorer in the history of ODI, and he has got a 300+ in tests. Adding to his fame are those innings that he has played single-handedly to take his team to victory.

My favourite batsman in cricket is Rahul Dravid.
Rahul Dravid is one of the best captains in the present cricket.
I can say this as he has the mettle to take some of the bold decisions that will surprise the critics also and atlast he comes with good results (Maximum).
He also uses his bowlers in an excellent way. He sees that no bowler should get fed up on bowling many overs and also makes good and appreciable bowling changes in crucial times. He uses his bowlers in the way that no other can use them. His fielding positions and placements are expertive. He analyses the batsman's mind and then places the field according to the bowling. The other thing is that he gives his bowlers to be free and keep their desired field placements which gives the bowlers more confidance to bowl as they have set the fielding.
He does not criticise the co-players even though if any one failed in a match or two he goes behind them and boosts them. His way of talking to the press is very informative. He will be like a member of the team with the co-players and not like a captain.
Comming to his batting, What words are there to describe his beautiful, intelligent, ..... batting. He leads the team from the front. He had saved the team on many number of occations. He is a sort of all-round intelligent for Indian cricket.
So considering the above views,I can say that Rahul Dravid is the Best captain which India ever had.
He is perfect in all these types of issues and this causes him to be my best batsman.
See this to know about his details.

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar pronunciation (help·info) (Hindi and Marathi: सà¤à¤¿à¤¨ तà¥à¤à¤¡à¥à¤²à¤à¤°; born 24 April 1973) is an Indian cricketer. He holds several batting records, including the most Test centuries and the most one-day international centuries, and was rated in an article by Wisden in 2002 as the second greatest Test batsman ever, after Sir Don Bradman[1]. He received the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, India's highest sporting honour, for 1997-1998, and the civilian award Padma Shri in 1999. Tendulkar was a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1997.

Garfield Sobers - He was the genuine allrounder, who could do everything - Bat, Bowl, Field, Captain the team.....
He excelled in each department, which sets him apart from the rest.
Tendulkar may come close, but still His captaincy record is nothing to boast about.
