It depends the culture. . . . Personally, I believe that one should have as many friends as possible from the opposite gender so long one knows well the rules of genuine Chasity. . . This is important for the mental, psychological and spiritual health. . . I have many dear friends from the beautiful gender, and all are clean relationships as well and I genuinely love them and appreciate them as friends. . . . I would say, go with your feelings and do not pay attention to meaningless comments, and remember that the most important is the authenticity and the genuineness, do what you perceive as proper, not what would look to an outsider as "appropriate". . . . having a lot of male friends doens't make you cheap! i have a lot of male friends, & everybody thinks they're my boyfriends too!! well, based on my experience, those people who constantly say that they're my boyfriends are those people who's job is to wreck other people's lives!! & they are usually females. they fail to see what's wrong with them coz they only see what's wrong with those around them...they're a bunch of dirty minded, stupid gossipers who are jealous of you coz you have a lot of male friends & they don't!!! as long as you're not doing anything wrong, then don't let them bother you! you know it's fun to let them gossip about you to get you angry, but if you just let it go & dismiss everything they say...they're the ones who will get pissed. eventually, they'll stop coz they can't get to you.
goodluck, just don't let them bother you. those people who really know you couldn't care less about what others are saying.

Cheap? I think NOt unless you're doing the nasty with all these guy friends...and then it wouldn't make you cheap it would classify you in the HO category.
I am a female in a male dominated career..I do categorize the males in my circle as friends as well as employees.....Does this make me cheap? I think NOT!!!!

i think guys are so much cooler to hang around with. i have lots of guy friends too.they don't care if you look better or if you talk to other people there is not the jelious bull **** that women do . i think guy friends are the best

having friends of the opposite sex obviously makes these people jealous... enjoy it and stop worrying...
