Allow me to answer this twice:
That's a pretty good question. While I don't understand what you are asking, I say that you should do your own homework and subscribe to my monolithic religion in order to avoid the pit of despair, sicko! Two points for me!

What a dumb question to ask! On one hand, you are probably seeking a serious answer, and I think that there are not a whole lot of truly stupid questions. There are plenty that are poorly worded, but in terms of actually stupid ones, I try to assume that the asker is generally serious in terms of asking, either from the viewpoint of wanting legitimate information or to see what kinds of answers the question elicits, so from my point of view, I try my best to answer the question as asked.
On the other hand, there are plenty of stupid answers. I generally consider them to be the non-responsive kind, such as those that simply insult the asker or are trying to propagate an agenda of theirs without directly answering the question, and often the two overlap. Another dumb answer is one that merely admits ignorance without trying to be helpful.

I've noticed that when there are really good questions there has to be some moron with some stupid answer that has nothing to do with the topic.
