Yes what you do is go the nearest ATM and put your card in the machine and then punch in the amount that you need and be sure to get your receipt and card before leaving the machine. If your friend needs more than what you have in your account or you don't have an account then in the morning go to the bank and try to get a personal loan. If that doesn't work then you get all your valuable possessions and take them to the pawn shop and pawn them. Its your friend not mine.

I wouldnt take out a loan to help a friend. Friends and money should never mix. A friend who asks for money is not a true friend. I loaned money and a large amount to a friend and she skrewed me over. I eventually got some of it back but not all, i tried to be patient but she had lied to me in the first place for what she needed it for and then lied to me as to how she was getting the money then tried to make me feel guilty by saying that she had to sell her car to get my money back. We no longer talk.
Dont jeopardise your friendship for money. DOnt feel bad by saying no, you are helping them by doing it. Encourage them to find it themselves.

not a good idea for you to get a lone out for your friend! if they are in trouble there are a lot of channels they can go through to get help! cant help you much more without knowing what kind of trouble they are in but they could ring the citizens advice bureau.
