I could go on for hours on this one!!!
All natural food, custom made for YOUR baby, changes daily with your baby's growth. Staves off your period until baby starts eating less. Amazing bonding experience. No guilt from settling for second best for your precious one. 10-15 points higher IQ for breast fed kids. No waking in the middle of the night listening to her scream while you make and warm a bottle. Portable and always ready at her beck and call. Helps your body get back into shape faster. Less ear infections and colds and minor childhood illnesses. And best of all, it's how God intended. I have nursed all of my children, (1 set of twins, 1 8 year old, and a 8 month old who is still nursing) It's a blessing to know they're getting the best that you have to offer. Good luck!!

Assuming that the mother can breast feed, the benefits for breast feeding are numerous. For one, the baby doesn't have to wait for a bottle to be prepared and cooled, the breat is readily available. Studies have also shown that breast feeding lowers the chance of SIDS, cancer, diabetes etc. On a non-scientific side breast feeding allows for bonding time between the mother and the baby. One of the best benefits to the mother is her cycles tend to be delayed when she is breast feeding.

Let's see, how about... your child gets the nutrients they need in the way nature/god intended? Obviously women have breasts that produce milk when pregnant for a REASON.
The only time a child should not be breast fed is if there is no breast to feed it on. End of story. Women who waste perfectly good milk because they're too prissy to let their kid teethe on their nipples, get over it and feed the kid properly.

Well breast feeding is more nutritious for the baby and the very best thing would have to be that breast feeding burns calories to help you lose that baby weight faster.

it is the best start to life you can give a baby, before you have milk there is a substance there called colostrum, it looks like milk but this is purely for the childs immune system, when baby drinks it, it boosts there immune system and gives them a healthy natural start to life, it is not as important t carry on with the milk after, the colostrum is the most important part.
Also breastfeeding makes the muscles in your stomach contract and helps your stomach return to normal after child birth, it also increases weightloss,
some mothers also say that this helps bond them with their child

It's the colostrum in the first few days that is most important...besides the nutritional values there are special enzymes to aid in quickly developing many systems ... like , immune system, nervous system, & of course the electro-system of the human, computer brain... Debbi
