YOU'RE a foreigner to THEM.

Why the hell should they have to put up with YOU?

Where are you from? Do you own your own country?
Were your great great great great great great great great grandparents born in that country?

Im just wondering where you are from? Because where I live, the people are complaining about foreigners coming here and complaining about the place haha. It happens everywhere, so it's not just your country darling.

I hope you arent including travelling tourists in your stereotypes of 'immigrants.'

Absolutely fair enough to ask why they dont go back to where they come from if they don't like it there. So Im with you on that one. I see enough people here who dont like being here, and I often think the very same things.

But for those that arent complaining and are adapting to the culture, the language and everything, I think we should give them a fair game.
If a person is prepared to immigrate to a country, and make a decent effort of assimilating themselves, then who are we to complain, anywhere in the world?
There are always going to be slight hiccups in the transition from one country to another, it doesnt hurt to be a little lenient to those that really are trying.

Im actually ashamed to be a foreigner where I live. Luckily I dont get ridiculed, because I made an effort to learn the language and culture before arriving. Im not an immigrant, just on a REALLY long holiday.
Even still, it's embarrassing to hear of people being here for years and years, and cant speak the language, don't care to, don't bother adapting to simple change such as food, and living conditions.
The constant complaints and whinging about lack of this and that, and how their country is better. Those people should go back to their own country.

Hmm the more I write the more I am beginning to agree with you.
Except that im sure we are on a totally different level. Who do you wanna get out of your country? If it's too delicate to mention nationalities here, feel free to message me.

Let's start with some facts.

Enrico Fermi, one of the scientists who worked on the Manhattan Project during World War II, was an immigrant.

Karen Horney, who changed modern interpretations of psychoanalysis, was an immigrant.

J. von Neuman, who invented programmable memory for computers, was an immigrant.

"Okay," you say, "so those isolated cases are exceptions to the rule."
I agree. What I've given you is called "anecdotal evidence."

However, do you know that:

1. the most highly educated group in the United States today are immigrants from... Africa.

2. the second most highly educated group is from Korea.

3. America is named after Amerigus Vespucci, a cartographer, who was a "foreigner."

4. The sons of immigrant Japanese people were the most highly decorated group during World War II, and -- luckily -- they were fighting on our side.

5. The number of Mexican immigrants who fought in Vietnam was proportionately higher than any other group.

6. The Tuskeegee Airmen, former slaves and offspring of involuntary immigrants, were the only fighter pilots during World War II to never have a plane that they were protecting shot down.

7. The condition from which you are suffering is called "xenophobia." I hope that there's a cure someday.

each and every Labour government there has ever been has left the united kingdom in a financial mess. Tony Blaire grew to become right into a liar and Gordon Brown is inept. Labour has continuously been 'for ' immigration, going some time past to the 50s. on each and every occasion the Tories had to cut back immigration Labour shouted them down and referred to as them racists, even nevertheless the Tories defined that the rustic might desire to not hire all the immigrants. (They meant financial immigrants, not asylum seekers) the situation is that Labour now not have all people who has ever worked for a residing in a genuine business enterprise. they are all ex-legal experts, commerce unionists or public sector and that they are out of touch with business enterprise actuality. i'm not asserting the tories are greater effective qualified, in spite of the shown fact that it quite is a properly typical asserting that governments lose elections extremely than the competition triumphing them. I believe your sentiment yet i think of you're being too constrained on your language.

They want to live... the American dream?!
And than they find out that America is not at all perfect, or the best place on earth, like in the Oscar wining Hollywood movies they've seen back home?
In the end, we all have the right to express our opinion, demands or beliefs, as far as I remember... immigrant, foreigner, citizen or... not!
It's how we empower democracy and improve the way we live. All over the world...

I don't even know why I'm dignifying this question with a response, but I have nothing better to do.

If you are really so blinkered, ignorant and narrow minded that you find foreigners offensive or difficult to deal with because of minor superficial differences, then I suggest you go and live somewhere so remote that no-one will ever need to bother you.

It's people like you who cause ALL the problems in this world.

Because most of them come from worn torn countries seeking help, just as we would if Britian came under fire.
They then have to put up rasicts like you, and I bet they wonder which is best; Being in a country where you might get bombed because of war or being in a country where you might get bombed because of the colour of your skin.
What would you do?

Well, you won't have to put up with anyone as long as you're a redneck. And thank God that immigrants won't have to put up with you, because I imagine that as a xenophobic redneck, you not only have a small brain (and various other vital parts), but also a bad odor. I don't know what country you're from, but you're probably American, so just the smell of a redneck itself is enough to drive anyone back to their homeland, which is actually probably better than your stinky country. Ufff please isolate yourself, my nose is actually hurting from your stench.

people always want their cake and eat it. they want to move to a richer place, but to make it like back home by building religious temples and having shops devoted to their style of dress. i am in no way racist, but i can understand why some people get a little pissed off with minorities moving in on their areas. imagine you have been born and bread in a certain area, and as time progresses the area then becomes an asian suburb, and you are pushed away from your childhood home. i can see the spark that annoy people.
people move for various reasons, low pay in their homelands, poor economy, poor healthcare, wars etc. i dont blame them for wanting to move, but i think people shuld respect the countries rules they are moving to, respect the culture and beliefs of the ORIGNIAL ocupants. as tourists we are supposed to respect what the foreign nationals do, if its seen as disrespectful to show the back of your neck, you cover up. but...for e=some reason when people move from abroad to here, they bring their own cultures with them and dont try to adapt.
