sounds like peer stress to me. You sound like the kind of person who has been not taken seriously a lot. everytime you make a suggestion or have an idea it is usually seen by those around you as either a joke or silly. You have become so use to it your afraid to make a move although you know no physical harm will come to you. Dreams expose to us our true selves.

Headless = no decision
Harmless black snake = unreal problems
snakes = fear
Basically your dream is telling you that some problems you are facing is not a real problems. Your problem is not really a problem as long as you face it. Your fear is no longer there if you can confront with it. You projected the headless snakes to tell you that you are into some decision and yet you are not sure what to do and you may be afraid the outcome. It could lead to a big problems or fear to you.
I could be wrong, and that is how I see from your dream

Well from my interpretation the snake represents a problem that has you frozen or inability to act on the the problem for what ever reason even though you know the right course to take to solve your situation or problem therefore the snake has no head. Do what you got to do and rid your self of the problem chances are you already know what the right thing to do is its just not something you want to do hope this helps.

For most people, dreams are just reflections of their subconscious fears and apprehensions. A headless snake I would say might represent issues that are slowly "creeping up" around you and you are at a loss as to how to deal with them... which is why you were not moving while the snake went around you. Hope that was even remotely accurate....

The only person who can interpret the dream is you. You are the only person who knows what a snake means to you, what the colour black means to you and how you were feeling when it all happened.
I love dreams but have come to the conclusion after a bit of research and a lot of interest in the subject that the key to someone's sub conscious is in their own heart.

The snake is a symbol of both healing and wisdom. The fact that it has no head means there is no direction for it. Since you are not moving either I feel that it is in the matter of intellect that this is directed to. There is some decision that you need to make but are not sure about. The uncertainty is causing you to question the direction you should take. My advice is this: Discuss whatever it is you need to settle with someone you trust. Listen to their advice then make your decision.
Keep in mind that dream interpretation is subjective. One mans snake of wisdom is another of doom. It is what YOU feel it represents to you that matters.

Fear of sex. The black snake represents your dark(feared) urges circling around your consciousness. You're not moving because you are afraid to act on these urges. The snake is headless to resemble your inability to find direction for your urges.

You'll be in a tight situation. You're going to have to choose between two things you love the most. 3 feet means the problem will carry on for a while, black meaning danger and the fact that it's not causing any danger means you're the one who's going to cause pain for someone. Not moving means you're in shock and you don't know what to do.

Dreaming of snakes means you have enemies somewhere, it is even worse if in your dream the snake bites you! Be careful and aware of those around you.
