If it means she gets a car that can win it will be good for her. Guess we will find out. At this point the only thing she leads in is getting publicity without actually winning anything.

It's a good move and I hope she's ready for the practical jokes Tony Kanaan is sure to play on her.
Mikey Andretti has made the transition from driver to team owner much better than I would have thought and I'm sure he'll take Danica under his wing.
I have a lot of respect for Bobby Rahal, however, I think his focus may have shifted away from his IRL team this season and (understandably) to Graham's career and a possible future move to European racing.
As for her lack of success in Formula Atlantic compared to Katherine Legge, a look at the 2005 Formula Atlantic grids will tell you it was a really depleted series with a lot of mediocre drivers.
The 2006 Champ Car series is filled with very average drivers, including seven rookies, yet, by any standard, Katherine Legge's rookie year will not be remembered as a memorable one.

Great move for her. Her visibility will only increase by staying in the IRL, and she is going to a better-funded team. Plus, Michael Andretti is much more hands-on owner than Bobby Rahal is (Rahal hasn't been to half the races this season), so this can only help her development.

given that andretti green has struggled this year i am not sure its a given that she has positioned herself with a team that can win next year. a/g has only won one race this year (Milwaukee). which some could argue is a non-traditional oval. either way it will be an interesting test to see how she matches up to marco and tony kannan. my guess is that she will lag behind those guys. just not convinced she has the talent that some of the other IRL guys do. i followed her in Atlantics. she never won a race before graduating to IRL. on the other hand Katheryn Legge won mutiple races in the Atlantic series before moving on the Champ Car.

Now she won't have any excuses and she better perform. I would love to see her win a few races but if she can't do it with AGR, then she will go the way of Sarah Fisher (except Danica will get rich with post career endorsements).

"My heart and soul is in IndyCar racing," quoted by danica herself "Our focus has been and always will be on winning races and winning championships. We certainly believe Danica will do that. She has made it very clear that one of her goals as a driver is to win the Indianapolis 500 and we are looking forward to giving her a great opportunity to do that

Doesn't matter which team she goes to - she's a talented driver but needs a good car; reliability; good manager and good pit crew. Most of all - good luck or a lack of bad luck. There have been plenty of potential champions in any series who haven't made it because of a lack of one or more of these things. I wish her well.
