Truth.

Start off by apologizing to the one you hurt, and tell them the truth about what you had done. If you're a Christian, pray, and ask God to forgive you as well, and confess to Him what you've done. Then make amends for what you've done if you still feel guilty. Now learn to forgive yourself: at this point, you have done all you possibly can do; realize what you had done is now in the past, and does not hold sway over your future if you are truly forgiven. Finally, do your best to not do it a second time.

Confess or confide in someone. I'm speaking from experience. I had feelings of guilt so bad that I actually began to cut myself to get rid of the pain of guilt. It was only when I confessed/confided that I finally got relief. Trust me, whatever pain, or embarrassment or punishment you may face, it is totally worth it.

They say it is better to regret something you haven't done, then regret something you have done......but if you want to get rid of any guilty feelings, find a few hookers, get stinking drunk and forget all you know, cause it will all look good in the AM with a big line of COKE......NO really the best way to get rid of the feelings is not to do stupid **** or not get caught really the only way!

I know how it feels to feel guilty about something. I've felt guitly before. what i did was, everytime i thought about what happened and why i feel guilty, ect. I just remind myself over and over again to stop thinking about it.I know it doesn't take away the guilt, but helps you not think about it.I tell myself if you think about what happened that you have to either admit what you did to the whole family or school or tell the whole family or school your sorry, depending on what i did.
since i know i hate adimitting i was wrong or saying sorry, espcially in front of alot of people,I don't think about it.
It's almost a way of punishing yourself.

a sin is a sin only when you think it so.just surrender before GOD,but not only when u commit some mistake.always put yourself beforeHim.when a single leaf cannot move without His wish, how can u do something wrong without His wish.a thing appearing wrong now may be good in some way in the long run.so be optimist.it is the most important thing.

If you're feeling guilty, it probably means you feel you've done something to wrong another. If you haven't taken steps to right the wrong, ask yourself why not? If you've done everything (reasonably) within your power and you aren't forgiven, then you should try to put it behind you because you've done what you thought is right, and nobody can fault you for that.

Its a constructive question. EVERYBODY is guilty of something.
You are not at all alone with this problem. No need to feel isolated, you are one of us.
I could tell you of methods others have used.
I could give you my opinions.
The funny thing about all of this is that, when you are ready, you will find your own answers and realize each of us is unique.
