I have come to terms with my loss,i have actually done this for years, including trying to climb out of a nine story window,it came down to the fact that my partner had to attach me at night, quite kinky but not the best when needing the toilet!lol

Check these websites out they're quite informative and hopefully should point you in the right direction to get some help. I'm not sure where you are so I have put an americana and British site in there

http://www.sleeping.org.uk/contents/homefrm.htm
http://www.londonsleepcentre.com/

Hope these help :-)

sorry to be a bit off topic but did anyone see that programme on people who murdered whilst sleepwalking? it was really interesting (although the guy that reckons he drove across the town, let himself into his mother-in-law's house and killed her then drove back whilst sleepwalking seemed a bit unbelievable)

There doesn't seem to be a 'cure' for sleepwalking but apparently alcohol before bed makes sleepwalkers much worse, and there's a few otherfactors that don't help only i can't remember them right now sorry lol.

Don't know if this has helped at all, sorry for the loss of your child. Like some people have said it might be to do with the grief you're feeling about that, see a psychiatrist or your gp.

I used to sleep walks as a kid too. I would visit the neighbours at 2am and go down to the river where the water would sometimes wake me up. My parents landed up locking the passage door that all the bedrooms share and hiding the key.

Oh and I wish I had some good advice but I grew out of it at around puberty.

I used to sleep walk as a kid but I stopped. I only talk in my sleep now. Go see a Dr. before you fracture your skull & end up braindead like a piece of fruit!
