We always thought we were Irish, now someone tells us we may be Scottish.
It has to do with the way our last name is spelled - Mc, not Mac
If you want to know which is best, I'm afraid that, on this side of the pond, they have a tendency to blur together a bit.

My husbands family always thought that they were Welsh, but we found the name as sept of the Keith clan. Now we are both Scots.Its all fun.
