Real or Fake??????

I think as a whole we prefer real to fake.

On People : We normally profess to like real people and yet when they are too real (to read "frankness which boders on rudeness), we can find them to be hard to bear. After watching "When Harry met Sally", I realise that perhaps we prefer some faking in our realities. Fake people are hard to bear but then again arent all the 'real' ones too?

On products, Fake leather, fake fur etc, personally I like the feel of the real stuff but rather have the fake (actually I'd rather not have either)

I guess in life I rather accept that we need doses of both, the actual dosage depends on ones own ideals. Like Black and White, we have come to settle for Grey.

Real is preferable (unless it is fur) except where this particular reality is causing stress or low esteem to the point of mental illness. Fake anything is nearly always not as good as real, but can be a welcome thing where real is unavailable.
