Interesting question. In quantum physics, there's a principle called "wave-particle duality". What this means is that an electron - the building block of all matter - only "decides" whether it's a particle or a wave when it is observed with expectations - for people expecting to see it behave like a wave, it behaves like a wave, and for people who expect to see it behave like a particle, it behaves like a particle.

Don't think that didn't freak them out when they discovered it!
It appears to prove that human expectation can effect a change or determination on the actual, physical world at a miniscule level. If our brains have the ability to do that (and let's not forget we habitually don't use a big chunk of our grey matter, and we're not sure exactly how we use some of the rest of it), then theoretically, with enough focussed thought we could change the world on a human scale - to make things happen by visualisation. But as some pagans advise, "if you want to turn the light on, and you have a light switch and your mind, it's a lot easier to flick the light switch than it is to visualise the light into switching itself on". In other words, yes it's probably possible, but there are often easier ways to do things :o)

Yes, I've used visualization for avoiding accidents over the last 34 years and 2.5 million miles of driving. I frequently look at the potential of what might happen and as a result, I've not been in an accident, while behind the wheel, in all that time. This of course doesn't count the number of times people have hit me in the rear, but only twice was an damage done, and it was minor. I've never been hit, or hit anyone, in the sides or front. Granted, much may simply have been dumb luck, but not all. By visualizing what may happen, I am better prepared to when something does happen.

only inside your own mind. I am not saying it isnt possible, because anything is possible, as for anyone able to perform this ability, I would have to say I have doubts.
