I have installed a new fuel pump and a new fuel pump relay also the oil pressure switch. But I still cant get the pump to come on. Had this problem once before and had to put it in the shop. They got it running but did not tell me what all they did. Can anyone help me? cant afford another shop bill.

HEY CHECK FIRST IF YOU HAVE POWER AT THE RELAY.IF YOU DON'T CHECK THE FUSE PANEL FOR A BLOWN FUSE .IF THE FUSE IS GOOD CHECK AND SEE IF YOU POWER WIRE HAS A IN-LINE FUSE ON THE CABLE BY TRACING TI BACK TO THE CAB WHERE IT GETS ITS POWER.IF YOU HAVE POWER AT THE RELAY.THEN THE PROBLEMM IS BETWEEN THE RELAY AND THE FUEL PUMP. ITS PROBLE A BROKEN CABLE. REMEMBER TO HAVE THE IGNITION SWITCH TO ON POSITION WHEN DOING THIS.THE OTHER PROBLEM COULD BE THE IGNITION STARTER SWITCH ALSO GIVES POWER TO THE RELAY WHEN YOU TURN THE KEY.HOPE I POINTED YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.AND REMEBER TO CHECK YOUR GROUND WIRE.

If your fuel pump is located where my fuel pump is located, when you get fire to it, be sure you are near a fire house.

The mechanic by law has to tell you if you ask, call them and have them check their records, which they have to keep by law. If they don't help, threaten them with the Better Business Bureau. *Always get everything in writing, always!
